It rejects our obsession with "celebrity lives" by focussing on the tiniest details of one man's ordinary life as well as deeply painful struggle. This copy is very boldly and beautifully signed placed and dated on the day of publication in black ink-pen on the title page by the author: "London 2/3/15 Karl Ove Knausgaard". It is signed directly on the page itself not on a tipped-in page or bookplate. It should also be noted that this copy has his FULL signature which is the way he signed the first three volumes of "My Struggle" when they first came out. This title is a great book. This is one of very few such signed placed and publication-day dated copies of the First Hardcover Edition/First Printing British still available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean crisp and bright. Please note: Extreme demand and time constraint have made Knausgaard resort to an Ondaatje-like swirl of a signature. Copies signed in this drastically abbreviated way have no collectible value.
