There is also a previous owner's gift inscription on the facing page. Cloth spine with red paper label decorative paper boards. Corners lightly rubbed spine label dust soiled otherwise a very nice copy. In the scarce original slipcase which has several old tape repairs. According to Adams Six Guns 188 the content of this book is "drawn from the wealth of unpublished material that Major Bell left at his death containing much information that he did not wish to make public while his subjects were alive."
