The contents with an area of abrasion to the front pastedown where a previous owner's bookplate has been removed some old damp-marking to the outer margin of the frontispiece and engraved title page and outer margin of the first 15 plates not touching the images themselves and that of the final 20 text pages and final 2 plates including the map and with the occasional odd spot of foxing or finger-marking elsewhere - the great majority of the plates however remain clean and in good order.
