Et Vu en sera quitte pour les inévitables droits de reproduction que lui réclamera sans doute le syndicat de la propriété artistique. ""L'incident sanglant"" avait pour origine une reproduction intempestive de quinze ou vingt dessins sans autorisation préalable et sans indication d'origine et servant d'illustration à un article contre Léon Daudet. J'avais trouvé le procédé bizarre. Mais il n'est plus question de ça ! A bientôt j'espère et bien amicalement. J. Sennep."" ""My dear Carlo Rim since you are editor-in-chief I absolve you! And Vu will get off with just the inevitable reproduction rights that the artistic property union will doubtless claim from it. Vous savez que je compte sur cet échange dont je vous avais parlé et que vous aviez bien voulu accepter. Malheureusement je quitte Paris demain matin et je ne sais pas exactement quand je repasserai par la capitale. Mais je vous ferai signe à tout hasard quand je viendrai. Bien amicalement. J. Sennep."" ""My dear Carlo Rim I received your little note. You know that I am counting on this exchange I spoke to you about and which you were kind enough to accept. ""Thank you big jealous one! but first I don't have hair that white! then my tie is sky blue which evokes the ribbon of the ""Children of Mary"" much more than the order of the Holy Spirit."" The spine has been reinforced with white archival tape. Still a decent copy. Owner's name to the top of the front cover. Internally complete clean and tidy throughout with a little darkening to the pages. Unpaginated but 64 pages. Jean-Jacques Charles Pennès known as Jean Sennep 1894-1982. He was celebrated for his political caricatures contributing to major publications such as L'Action française Le Figaro Candide and L'Écho de Paris. Sennep's art often reflecting his strong views—he was a right-leaning anti-communist but also critical of Nazi Germany and opposed collaboration with the Vichy regime. 32cm x 25cm. . Première édition. Un album de caricatures politiques de Sennep. Couverture en papier souple. Les couvertures sont assombries. Il y a quelques déchirures et marques sur les couvertures. Le dos a été renforcé avec du ruban adhésif d'archivage blanc. Il s'agit néanmoins d'un bon exemplaire. Le nom du propriétaire figure en haut de la couverture. L'intérieur est complet propre et bien rangé avec un léger noircissement des pages. Non paginé mais 64 pages. Jean-Jacques Charles Pennès connu sous le nom de Jean Sennep 1894-1982. Célèbre pour ses caricatures politiques il a contribué à des publications majeures telles que L'Action française Le Figaro Candide et L'Écho de Paris.
