Limited to 500 copies per colophon. One of 25 copies on Japon impérial. A unique copy containing 43 fine original watercolors in the margins by Emile Delphes Chabod comprising 29 in watercolor and 14 pen-and-wash drawings in bistre with several signed by the artist. The illustrations range from the decorative and charming to the ribald and bawdy reflecting the nature of a number of the sonnets: Massage Maladies Secretes Preservatifs Bonbon Laxatif and Constipation and several with sexual and gastronomic themes.
