The book is in near fine condition uncut pages with only slight curling to the page edges - likely due to the inherent quality of the handmade stock.199 pages.<br /> <br /> Laid in is a handwritten letter signed ALS by Daragnès written in French on beige paper. An original drawing signed by Jean-Gabriel Daragnes and an additional suite of the wood engravings were issued with the first 16 copies. This is copy number 5 with the suite of 69 additional engravings in matching wrappers and the original pencil drawing housed in a brown card chemise with a quarter vellum spine with gilt lettering and the "Flowered Heart" device to the heel.
