Flush-cut card covers featuring a wrap-around design by Georges Rouault; spine a little rubbed with a few horizontal cracks and short splits at each end of the front joint; stitching a little loose; trifling signs of use and age; a very good copy. The artistic component of this number includes three original lithographs by Henri Matisse a double-page work 'The Dance' with two individual 'figures of skaters' on the verso as well as three drawings by him; seven small lithographs on four pages by André Derain; six full-page colour lithographs from 'Tacuinum Sanitatis' a fourteenth century book of health; and photographs by Brassai and Bill Brandt.
