Verner Panton (1926- 1998) lived and worked in Basel, which was close to the Vitra Museum, and when Vitra was opened Panton transferred many objects and drawings and papers to the Vitra Museum archive. Prima edizione. Un volume (21x29 cm) di 30 -su 32- pagine non numerate, con le 15 “macchine inutili” a colori disegnate da Munari. MANCA LA PAG 3-4, strappata. Legatura originale in cartonato editoriale illustrato (ovviamente da Munari), dorso in tela, un angolo superiore ondulato, usure ai margini, anche per antica umidità. Due segni a matita al piatto; un indirizzo a matita all'ultima pagina bianca. Esemplare purtroppo mutilo di un foglio e con qualche difetto del tempo alla copertina, e per questi difetti viene venduto come “copia di lavoro” (no return). Resta comunque un esemplare genuino della prima edizione, “finito di stampare il 30 settembre 1942-XX”, di questo famoso libro di Munari, considerato uno dei più originali prodotti del grande designer e artista.
