A fine image showing yard and street cleaners at study. - The Russian photographer Ermakov trained as a military topographer and took part in the Russo-Turkish War before setting up his photographic business in Tbilisi. He travelled extensively as far as Iran and took part in several archaeological expeditions in the Caucasus, leaving a series of unique photographs.
