"Les Girls" was the winner of an Academy Award fro Best Costume Design and nominated for two more. The film was also the final film score for Cole Porter and the final musical for Gene Kelly under his contract with MGM ending an era defining association that produced several classic musicals. <br/><br/>10 x 8 inches. With annotations throughout in holograph ink. The film was released in Italian though with American actors Peppard and Hamilton dubbed in Italian. The text of this draft is in English created for consideration by the US cast and crew in the film's pre-production phase. <br/><br/>Noted Italian director Umberto Lenzi ultimately directed the film under the pseudonym Hank Milestone. <br/><br/>In 1939 six friends who met at a Parisian cafe vow to meet there again at the end of the war. They are of different nationalities one is British another German two Americans and two Frenchmen.
