Each album with a single introductory page of text. Text in German. Both albums illustrated with numerous leaves of mounted color cigarette cards of actors and actresses from the early years of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Each album also has plates of color illustrations taken from scenes of famous films. All of the films shown in these two albums were released in 1931 or 1932. The color cigarette cards feature actors and actresses from Germany the United States Poland Mexico and from other countries. Remarquable danseur, il débarque à New-York en 1913. Après de nombreux petits rôles, il s'impose en 1924 dans "les quatres cavaaliers de l'Apocalypse" et "le cheik", dont il fera la suite ((le fils du cheik") en 1926, peu avant sa mort. A Star is Born ! Il fut un des plus grands acteurs du cinéma muet hollywoodien. Notre exemplaire est la deuxième édition après l'édition originale de 1914 ! Notre édition est bien entendu "augmentée" par rapport à cette première donnée 12 ans avant sa mort ! Cette superbe biographie, avec des photographies rares, est excessivement RARE. Très bon état malgré quelques légers manque de papier au dos, le tout est d'une grande fraîcheur.
