All three inscriptions are on the front free endpaper. 16 191pp gilt still bright binding and hinges tight illustrated throughout with b/w photographs also includes recipes from the kitchen of "21" in the back. The dust jacket shows light edge wear with one closed tear is NOT price-clipped and is now housed in a protective mylar cover. The book shows foxing to the outer top page edges. The "21" Club was a Manhattan icon and one of New York's social and culinary landmarks for 90 years. Once a speakeasy the Prohibition forced the owner's to hide their liquor. They employed Frank Buchanan to design a system of camouflaged doors invisible chutes revolving bars and a secret wine cellar. The cellar was actually part of No. 19 next door so staff could honestly say there was no alcohol on the premises. It housed 2000 cases of wine including the private collections of Presidents Gerald Ford and Richard Nixon Elizabeth Taylor Sophia Loren and Aristotle Onassis. The Viking Press hardcover

This original movie poster from 1952 was released to movie theaters to promote the film. The top half of this tall poster depicts a painting of Monroe at the top along the words "Marilyn Monroe and Niagara a raging torrent of emotion that even nature can't control" and a still from the movie of Monroe and her costar Joseph Cotten. Just below this is the movie title and credits as well as two additional stills from the movie with the two stars. The bottom margin has the copyright country of origin and a message saying property of National Screen Service Corp. licensed for display in theaters only and to be returned immediately after.
