He worked with the Design Research Unit London later the Festival of Britain. During the 1939-45 War he worked as a camouflage artist and later as an official war artist. Postwar he returned to his graphic arts career executing watercolour prints posters stamps and other works. A few small foxing spots mainly in the margins. unknown
