Provenance Suzy Locke. WARNER Douglas W. of Flint age 83 died Thursday Nov. 21 2013 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Final interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly Michigan where military honors will be conferred 1 PM Friday December 6 2013. Doug was born in Tulsa Oklahoma June 8 1930. He earned a BA from Oklahoma State University and an MS from the University of Wisconsin. He served as an officer in the United States Army. He moved to Flint in 1958 to join the faculty of Mott Community College where he was an art instructor for 35 years. He married Patty Price in 1981. Doug continued to produce works of art until recently. He remained an avid reader a philosopher and a clear and critical thinker. 1978 unknown
