The author is a film critic Naum Osipovich Kaufman. In the form of an afterword on 20 pages the article by Sergei Mikhailovich Eisenstein 1898-1948 "Behind the Scenes" is published. Thanks to the film "Battleship Potemkin" his name became synonymous with Soviet cinema.
