First edition of this exceedingly scarce fanzine issued by the consummate John Kolcun who was President of Maureen’s official fan club in the 1950’s and 1960’s with a roster of over 800 members. Each issue was filled with tan letters box office totals newspaper items reviews announcements of coming performances and theatrical appearances as well as personal information. O’Hara 1920-2015 was born Maureen FitzSimons and is perhaps best remembered for her iconic portrayals of hard-headed and athletic women. She typically performed her own stunts and played roles ranging from the cynical mother of Natalie Wood in Miracle on 34th Street 1947 to the Quiet Man Wings of Eagles McClintock! and Big Jake starring with John Wayne.
