Confessions is Augustine's autobiographical work that outlines his sinful youth and conversion to Christianity. It consists of 13 books written in Latin between AD 397 and 400. It is widely seen as the first Western Christian autobiography ever written and is considered to be one of Augustine's most significant pieces of writing. A very important work in Christianity.
