The book itself is Very Good with a Good dust jacket. Light grey cloth-covered boards with blue lettering on the spine. Mild edge wear to the covers binding tight. Thin crack along the paper seam at the top of the front hinge between the front free endpaper and the front pastedown. Front free endpaper creased. Pages otherwise clean and unmarked. Bright blue pictorial dust jacket showing an array of aircraft line drawings on the front and a black-and-white author portrait on the back. The jacket has several nicks and short tears of one inch or less and creasing along the edges with mild to moderate shelf wear and some color loss along the edges and spine.
