Many other points of similarity between these systems have been noted by students, and the Book of Mormon has marked resemblance to the Koran. There is an average amount of underlining in the book, primarily in pencil. As to the content of the book, it is much more than a collection of the finest pieces, newly expanded and updated, by one of Canada's best-known commentators on religion. In addition to a lengthy introductory statement of his own beliefs, the former relition editor of The Toronto Star has written a number of short essays on controversial issues specially for this book. Here, Harpur is able to speak more frankly than he could as a journalist. A book not only for church-goers but for all who are concerned with religion and its place in the world. Book
