A readable account of the origins and mission of an Anglican parish founded in 1866 in the Cowichan Valley region, of wich the present city of Duncan is now the centre, on southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The work traces the many links past and present between the parish and its people and the communities in the region, including Salt Spring Island, as well as with the extensive native community. There is a full description of the historic cemetery, still in operation, as well as biographical sketches of some of the many interesting former parishioners who lie buried in it. Book
