Folding table with treaurers report is bound in as 4 separate pages - "A statement of the revenue of North Carolina : a statement of the nett amount of that branch of the revenue which is receivable by the sheriff for the year 1830". OCLC 967844253 Acts include incorporation of seven gold mining companies nine acts regarding construction of roads twenty-one acts regarding establishment of militias five acts regarding treatment of Negroes etc. In 1825 a reporter wrote: “The mining interest of the State is now only second to the farming interest.” Most North Carolina gold was found in ten Piedmont counties: Guilford Randolph Davidson Rowan Montgomery Stanly Cabarrus Mecklenburg Gaston and Union but there were deposits farther west.
