EXTREMELY RARE single volume with two of the six parts of the Jewish prayer book ("Siddur") published in 19th century Jerusalem by Shlomo Moussaieff, a renowned Uzbekistan-born Jewish philanthropist, collector and scholar. This Siddur is heavily influenced by the Kabbalah, as evident in the prayer texts and in the laws and instructions mentioned in the book. 175x120mm. 122+142 double pages. Black quarter-leather hardcover with gilt lettering on spine. Cover and spine worn. cover inscription faded. Cover edges and corners bumped. Few worm holes on cover. Ex libris stamps on endpaper and rear whitepage. Previous owner's name on second title page. Page edges slightly bumped. Few wormholes along first 50 double pages - NO damage to text. Pages yellowing with very few aging stains. [SUMMARY]: Despite the aforementioned wear, this rare and unique Siddur is in good reading condition.
