There are a few small horizontal tears to the spine and a small piece chipped out from the bottom edge of the rear cover. 48 unnumbered pages profusely illustrated in black & white throughout including depictions of the "Bailey Avenue Stables" "Col. Hiram K. Scott" "Main Street Ridgefield" a full page ad for a drawing of a "Fine Bred Scotch Collie" puppy "an Ideal Country Home" etc. There is dampstaining to the bottom inner corner of the first few pages with some foxing to those pages and a small piece chipped from the bottom edge of the last few pages.
