Excursus della storia della città di Pavia, patria del Gualla (morto nel 1505), descritta attraverso le biografie di vescovi, santi e sante. Contiene un resoconto delle chiese e delle reliquie traslate da Milano a Pavia nel 1499, quelle di Cristo e dei santi, tra cui quelle di Tobia, Sant’Agostino e il capezzolo di Maria Maddalena, descritto come “integra e valde”. Described by Kristeller as "amongst the best work of the Italian wood engravers", the woodcuts by an unknown artist portray saints, male and female, officers of the Church, martyrs, Lombard princes, and other personages.
