Ippolito Marracci (1604-1675) fu protagonista e precursore del movimento mariologo, e strenuo sostenitore dell’immacolata concezione (ante litteram, solo a metà del XIX secolo il Sant’Uffizio definì la questione), ciò che gli costò anche una condanna e una scomunica, nel 1666, poi revocate ma solo nel ’71. Il fratello Ludovico ne classifica 115 opere, delle quali solo 32 sono attualmente quelle a stampa. Questo volume comprende, in appendice, un sedicesimo con pagine rinumerate da 1, cosa non riscontrata negli altri esemplari visionati (e non descritto in Iccu). LEG
