Laid in are a small advertisement for the book noting that royalties from its sale benefit American Women's Hospitals and a clipped book review. Octavo. Original blue cloth binding with gilt stamping. Faint offsetting to the half-title and verso of the front flyleaf. The spine is lightly faded with some light foxing to the boards.
