SAUL ALINSKY author of 'Rules for Radicals' wrote his unauthorized biography of John L. Lewis from his own personal files and from personal knowledge-- Saul Alinsky and John L. Lewis were friends. In his biography Alinsky reveals why Lewis broke with President Roosevelt why Lewis fought with the AFL to form the CIO the birth of sit-down strikes and the motives behind WW2 worker strikes and how often John L.
