Foreword by Frederick J. Cummings. This exhibition is in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Ford Motor Company. The Rouge is a massive industrial complex that Ford owned owns in Detroit. An important exhibit in many ways one of which is the strking difference in how Rivera and Sheeler depicted the same location. Preface by Mary Jane Jacob and Linda Downs. Sheeler produced paintings and photographs while Rivera produced frescoes. An amazing exhibition on an intriguing topic.
