Text extremely similar though not perfectly identical to the 1699 "Nouvelle Edition Reveu Par les Pasteurs et Professeurs de Geneve" and to the 1702 edition "le tout reveu et confere sur les textes hebreux & grecs par les pasteurs & les professeurs de l'eglise de Geneve". Also contains "Le Pseaumes de David Mis en Vers Francois Revus & approuvez par le Synode Walon des Provinces-Unies: Nouvelle Edition" Amsterdam Zacharie Chatelain 1738 with musical notation throughout; lengthy catechism divided into 52 Sundays not Heidelberg catechism and aimed at children; various items of liturgy Confession of Faith agreed by the Reformed Churches of France family prayers. The spine has split in two between pages 2 and 3 of the metrical psalms; the exterior of the spine was taped across and onto the boards with clear tape many years ago a piece of the leather is missing on one side of the bottom of the spine repair might be difficult as the leather spine is attached to the internal spine; the book is in two pieces apart from the remaining old clear tape.
