19403901London Barmerlea Book Sales Ltd. 1940 From the bookplate, we can see that this book belonged to Helge Loewenberg-Domp. She was a German musician and music (piano) seller of Jewish parents who escaped to the Netherlands before the war. She later went into hiding with her family, and survived the war. (Her brother died in the camps). She was one of the first to import Japanese pianos to the Netherlands. In the 1970's she was knighted to the Order of Orange-Naussau. Three years later, she founded the Helge Domp Foundation for Music for young musicians. She died in 2021.
