It is divided into four parts: sickness of the digestive and endocrine systems sickness of the brain and heart women’s illnesses and essays on diseases. The book concludes with Riviére’s medical recipes including the Potion de Riviére a carbonated anti-emetic renowned for its efficacy. <br /> Riviére 1589-1655 was a French physician and instructor.
