Barskey's book "Noam Chomsky - a life of dissent" quoted at MIT Cognet "Dr. Chomsky continued to pursue his research in the field of medieval Hebrew language and went on to become according to a 22 July 1977 New York Times obituary 'one of the world's foremost Hebrew grammarians.' He was the author of a seminal study called Hebrew the Eternal Language 1957 as well as numerous other works including Hebrew the Story of a Living Language 1947; which was the basis of Hebrew the Eternal Language How to Teach Hebrew in the Elementary Grades 1946 and Teaching and Learning 1959."
