Last leaf with tear into text no loss of meaning. Boards. Self-styled "Fifteenth edition" with corrections and improvements. First published 1787. "Contents" page at 240. Apparently this book was issued without the usual frontispiece: Cf. Skeel p. 184. However the pagination with the fourth preliminary page numbered vi is the same as those editions which include the frontispiece. Webster's reader was a constant feature of the American educational landscape during the early 19th century. Many editions.
