Half bound with red leather back and corners with gilt edge reddish cloth completes the boards the four raised gilt bands on spine with the second band having gilt title and date of 1853. The leather corners are worn for one cm at three of the tips the leather has a surface tear one by four and one by five cm at the spine and front board. The page edges are gilt on the three edges the end pages are marbled. The book has 36 full page illustrations the book has a catalogue at the start "Exhibition of The Art-Industry of Dublin" and two pages are almost loose with worn edges.
