In the original limp vellum binding but the text block is completely detached from the vellum and the first few sections of pages are coming loose. The vellum is soiled and stained. It is also creased. The end papers are very spotted. The tissue interleaving before the plates is very spotted and browned. Number 149 of the 400 copies printed for the England. The publisher's printed note on page vii states that it is printed on Arnold and Foster's unbleached handmade paper. There is then ink page numbers for the 3 plates.
