Vi sono contenuti: "Statuti civilia et criminalia…", 7 cc.nn. (frontesp., dedica, indice), 94 pagg. num; "Statuta criminalia quatuor vicariatuum…", 1 c.b., 4 cc.nn. (frontesp., indice), 24 pagg. num.; "Ordini de Sindici nei Quattro Vicariati", 1 cc.nn. (frontesp.,) 12 pagg. num., 3 cc. nn. Stesso editore e anno di pubblicazione per tutte e tre le parti. <BR>Prima edizione, molto rara. <BR>Consta in fine di una interessantissima parte manoscritta "Additamenta Statuti", datata 1641, che riporta nuovi regolamenti per i quattro vicariati trentini, oltre a far riferimento a precedenti costituzioni editate nel 1609. I quattro Vicariati di Ala - Avio - Brentonico - Mori ebbero storicamente sempre una propria giurisdizione. <BR>Due ulteriori documenti sono presenti nel volume: una lettera molto interessante facente riferimento alla storica e grave controversia per il controllo dei quattro vicariati tra i conti di Castelbarco e il principe vescovo di Trento ed un foglio manoscritto ottocentesco in latino, in cui è redatto un elenco di 9 punti.<BR>I Castelbarco avevano avuto in possesso il territorio fino al 1411, dopo di che esso era passato alla Serenissima. Nel 1655 i Castelbarco dopo un processo durato più di cento anni, riacquistarono i diritti feudali sul territorio dei Vicariati con disdegno della popolazione che inviarono una supplica all'imperatore per rimanere sotto il governo dei principi Madruzzo. I Castelbarco giurarono di rispettare le antiche consuetudini e privilegi, ma poco dopo tempo pretesero gli antichi rapporti feudali con risvolti negativi, quali rivolte e disordini; l'episodio si concluse dopo mezzo secolo nel 1696 con una sentenza a favore dei Vicariati.<BR>La lettera riporta: "Già tempo corre, che mi si diceva che… li sudditi dei quattro vicariati stanno per dare alle stampe una deduzione legale contro la pretenzione del Conte Francesco di Castelbarco…" Firmata e datata Trento 6 Febbraio 1695. Al verso vi è un'indicazione in tedesco di registrazione ad un probabile archivio.<BR>Discreto esemplare. Tracce d'uso, sporco superficiale agli angoli inf., qualche sporadica macchia, restauri al marg. inf. di tre pagg, con aggiunta di carta.<BR>Fontana, I, p. 9 che indica una quarta parte, di 30 pp.nn.

La copia presenta la copertina con il dorso brunito e tracce del tempo ai piatti, leggere fioriture interessano alcune pagine, peraltro la copia è in buone condizioni nelle sue legature ben salde. Very large, heavy book with red padded vinyl covers. 9'' wide by 13" tall. All text and numbers are in Arabic with no English throughout. Heavily bordered with art in blues and golds with heavy use of gilt in arabesque motifs. Book is in excellent condition with no flaws, as new except for a tiny chip at one corner and fading to exposed page-end side of folding cover. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Red box cardboard cover shows light wear to corners and some scuff marks.
