The engraving depicts a sweeping view of Mecca with the cityscape in the background. In the foreground are the thousands of pilgrims gathered to worship near the Kaaba which stands in the center of the court. In very good condition. unknown books

The engraving illustrates at its center the Kaaba and the surrounding domed structures as it was in 1700's. We can see over 20 Muslims praying in the outside court. Un-mounted and unframed trimmed original fold. This image was later slightly changed and reprinted in several 18th century books including the Al Coran de Mahomet of Du Ryer.
