In 1789 the American Episcopal church adopted its first version of the Book of Common Prayer, which was used from 1790 until a major revision was completed in 1892. During this time, several editions of the Book of Common Prayer were published with corrections and other minor changes, of which this 1793 edition was the first. No priority has been established for the several 1793 Gaine varieties and variants. Because of format differences with those found in the record, we think that this is an unrecorded variant (closely allied to: Evans/Shipton & Mooney 26043; Griffiths 1793:11). Rare and Important. **PRICE JUST REDUCED! AI BX 4
