The majority of the 55 black and white photographs are 8x10 inches from the negatives many from glass plates held by the Genealogy Department Denver Public Library. From the years about 1880 to 1920 they depict mine buildings and facilities railroads and mining towns in Colorado such as The Mary McKinney Mine Vindicator and Lillie Mines Ajax Gold Mine Independence Colorado and many others.
