Si tratta di un resoconto di un suo viaggio compiuto tra il 1850 e 51 che unisce alcuni saggi politici e letterarie con pagine inedite su questa affascinante regione dell'Africa. All'inizio un ode di Giosuè Carducci (1835-1907). Note manoscritte. Timbro annullato al frontespizio. Brossura editoriale in cattive condizioni generali con usure ai margini; dorso quasi assente; piatto anteriore assente. Legatura quasi assente ma nessuna pagina mancante. All'interno le pagine si presentano in ottime condizioni con rare fioriture. Lieve gore d'umidità al margine destro delle pagine da 465 a 468. Scarce first edition of this important work by Giuseppe Regaldi (1809-1883), a poet that travelled a lot along all Europe and Egypt. It is a resuming of the voyage he made between 1850 and 1851 that melts some litterature and political essays with some inedit pages about this charming area of Africa. Inside an ode by Giosuè Carducci (1835-1907). Manuscripted notes. Erased stamp in the title page. Editorial cover in bad general conditions slightly worn in the edges spine almost missing; front plate is missing. Binding almost missing but no page is missing. Inside pages are in very good conditions with occasional foxings. Slight humidity stain in the right edge of pages from 465 until 468.
