Rara memoria presentata agli arbitri internazionali per la decisione dell'ammontare dei danni subiti dalla Società anonima commerciale industriale e agricola per la Tunisia per i fatti avvenuti nella tenuta di Gedeida nel 1871 (La società anonima commerciale ed industriale per la Tunisia contro il governo di S. A. il Bey di Tunisi. Note per i signori arbitri, Roma 1872), che è una voluminosa comparsa conclusionale sulla intricata questione. L'impresa tuttavia incontrò localmente crescenti contrasti, che causarono strascichi sul piano diplomatico e giudiziario, e cessò nel 1873.
