Holman / from the Author / Feb. 1939" Inscribed to US Senator from Oregon Rufus Holman. In that sense McCormick's book is a vernacular one-volume John L. Stoddard providing glimpses of Peking the SS Leviathan Port Moresby St. Helena the SS Mauretania Kyoto several photos of the Handley Page Airship Tasmania the Alaska Steamship Company's S.S. Alaska etc.<p>Not to be outdone book-recipient Holman signed the book with his larger autograph on the FFEP dated Feb. 28 1939. In addition above his signature Holman provided a gift inscription to his granddaughter dated 1941. Uncommon in a dust jacket this bright. Dust jacket now protected in a clear removable archival sleeve. Self-Published hardcover
