The musicians represented include Coleman Hawkins Johnny Desmond Gene Krupa Bid Sid Catlett Benny Goodman Artie Shaw "Hot Lips" Page Cab Calloway Anita O'Day Roy Eldridge Woody Herman Les Brown and many more. The album with a two-ring binding with some signatures signed directly onto the album leaves and others clipped and mounted some on larger folded sheets. 31 pages of autographs with further blank pages in the middle; on the last several pages all the grades from the owner's report cards from 1930 to 1943 are meticulously recorded! An inscription to the owner on the verso of the title page dates the album to 1931. Light toning and edge wear; overall in fine condition. 6.25 x 4.5 inches 15.8 x 11.7 cm. unknown books

Quatre vues du port (115, 114, 107, 103), deux vues du ravin de Raz-El-A¤n (106 et 112), la cour de la mosque (116), le march (131), une palmeraie (Misserguin, 119), deux vues de Mers-El-Kbir (140, 145), types algriens (intrieur arabe, 223). Le contenu de ces albums est variable, certains sont faits sur mesure pour les touristes et visiteurs et ils ne contiennent pas toujours les m¬mes vues, choisies dans un catalogue. Boards show considerable insect nibbling and some soiling and p. 131/132 was detached at some time and reinserted backwards Otherwise internally sound and clean with all plates and maps in nice condition. Roberts was the 17th Governor of Texas and this promotional book about the state was published while he was still in office. Clark Travels in the New South I:185: "Roberts.had traveled over the state as a lawyer 1841-60 and after the war had settled down and taught law.
