Traduit du français au portugais, ce livre est à la fois une analyse du culte des Orixás en Afrique de l'Ouest et au Brésil et un album de photos de l'auteur. Abondamment illustré en noir et blanc, il saisit des instants de la religion de Xangô, Oxálá, Oxóssi et bien d'autres dieux du panthéon Ioruba. Translated from French to Portuguese, this book is both an analysis of the cult of the Orixás in West Africa and Brazil and a photo album by the author. Profusely illustrated in black and white, it captures moments of the religion of Xangô, Oxálá, Oxóssi and many other gods of the Ioruba pantheon. Slight loss at the top of the front hinge, damages to the cloth inside the upper rear chase, some scratches on the covers, lots of foxing on the white parts of the pages without affecting the photos.
