Particolare narrazione che accompagna didascalie a immagini in sequenza, sorta di fotoromanzo firmato con lo pseudonimo di GUIPAR e apparso sulle pagine del periodico Brescia, qui estratto con propria copertina editoriale e alcune pagine pubblicitarie (mezzi FIAT per l’Africa Orientale, vettura Bianchi modello Riccione, pompe Marelli, automezzi O.M., attrezzi agricoli Gialdini Pietro, Fabbrica Nazionale d’Armi Brescia). Il narratore, volontario della MSVN assegnato alla Seconda Divisione Camicie Nere ""28 Ottobre"" comandata dal generale Umberto Somma, rende conto della marcia da Qwiha nel Tigré a Senafé in Eritrea meridionale, citando ufficiali e illustri partecipanti (""marcia pure l'Eccellenza futurista legionario Marinetti""), località attraversate e parecchi mezzi utilizzati (vetture Ardita, autocarrette OM), con una novantina di fotografie di militari, paesaggi, popolazione locale e ascari, mezzi, ecc. Non comune."

Bross. post. in carta decorata muta, fonte dattilografata e segni a biro in testa alla prima pagina, ottimo il resto.. Estratto raro, censito in sole 3 bibl. ed importante per il lungo testo etiopico.
In-8° (cm. 25,2), pp. 65 (da p. 357 a p. 421), Bross. provvisoria a c. della Bottega d'Erasmo. La settecentesca "Cronaca abbreviata" era stata pubblicata nel 1901. I due nuovi mzss. sono uno senza data, l'altro scritto a Gondar nel 1900; si tratta di una specie di "Cronaca interpolata", il t5esto è in ge'ez e costituisce la prima fonte di importanti "leggende stooriche" (di cui si trovano tracce in frammenti amarici posteriori). Qui sono riportati in traduzione italiana. GUIDI, orientalista, docente di ebraico e di lingue semitiche, senatore del Regno (dal 1914), socio dell'Accademia dei Lincei.
