Rosier Pieter Jacobus Faassen 1833-1907 was a prolific writer actor and playwright Knight in the Order of Oranje-Nassau. His dramatic oeuvre numbers more than twenty plays including box-office successes like "Anne-Mie" "De Ledige Wieg" The Vacant Crib and the one-act play "Manus de Snorder" Manus the Coachman. He published his autobiography "Mijn leven" in 1897 and it was reprinted several times.
