A very clean very tight booklet with lightly foxed front cover, rusty staples and no bumping to corners. 20pp. Published by the Soviet government as (1) their reply to the notes of western nations about Berlin, (2) a Soviet military proclamation to the German population and (3) currency reform in the German Soviet Zone. .

This is a folded illustrated leaflet produced by official Soviet Union media. No marks or inscriptions. A little very faint creasing to upper/lower edges . A very clean bright unmarked leaflet and no bumping to corners. pp. An 11 x 8 inch leaflet opens up to 11 x 41 inches double sided. It is a celebration propaganda leaflet clearly from Soviet Union media (published unidentified). Describes the Soviet success in acheiving space flight with Sputnik and with particluar reference to the first manned space flight which was carried out by Yuri Gagarin. To quote 'It is not by chance that the Soviet Union - the first country of socialism - was first in the world to launch artificial satellites and the first to accomplish a manned flight in outer space.' A fascinating document for anyone interested in early space flight. Very scarce. We do not use stock photos, the picture displayed is of the actual book for sale. This is the first volume of a larger series on the pogrom-movement in Ukraine (Die Geschichte der Pogrom-Bewegung in der Ukraine 1917-1921). Contains several b&w plates of photographs and posters. Very Good Turkish, Ottoman (1500-1928) Original very attractive chromo-lithograph print of Soviet Tatarstan emblem. 24x17 cm. Bilingual in Tatar and Ottoman script. Eight paper-tapes on the extremities of paper. "Sekil 20" [i.e. Figure 20] written. It shows a peasant holding a sickle and a worker holding a pickaxe have joined their hands. The sun rises out of a wreath knitted with spikes and an arrow is drawn with a bow. Inside the wreath, "Tatar Sûrâlar Cumhuriyeti" is written in Arabic letters. In the lower part, hammer and sickle symbols stand out. Info about this emblem and its artist, and from which source it's taken couldn't be found. Litho.
