Wohl die früheste von etlichen Moskau-Karten Delisles. - Guillaume Delisle (1675-1726) war ein französischer Kartograph aus Paris. Delisle war der erste, der eine wissenschaftlich vergleichende Geographie anbahnte, indem er bei seinen Werken auch Reiseberichte und die Werke von Naturforschern benutzte. Er gab zahlreiche Landkarten heraus, die sich durch Eleganz und Schärfe von den früheren Karten unterschieden. - Der breite weiße Rand wurde zeitgenössisch eigens aufmontiert, vermutlich wegen der enormen Blattgröße.
