"Captain Boldheart" wurde von Dickens 1867 geschrieben und ist der dritte von vier Teilen der "Holiday Romance"; urspünglich wurde "Boldheart" in einem amerikanischen Kindermagazin veröffentlicht, zumal die Geschichte aus der Perspektive eines neunjährigen Kindes erzählt wird. "Captain Boldheart" wurde zudem 1868 in "All the Year Round" in England nochmals publiziert. Schönes Exemplar.

Dust jacket dampstained along spine panel rubbed along front joint moderately soiled with loss at bottom front corner and along lower front flap fold now in archival mylar.
