Also posters for sporting events like Wimbledon. And London attractions like the zoo, Kew Gardens, etc. 326 lots in the sale. All illustrated in color. Cincinnati born Henry Thew Stephenson (1870-1957) was a teacher and writer. He attended Woodward High School before gaining degrees from Ohio State University, Harvard University and Indiana University. He studied for a year doing research at the British Museum. He was an Associate Professor of English in Indiana University in 1919. Stephenson published a number of fiction and non-fiction books whilst teaching English. Charles Mark Relyea (1863-1932) was an American illustrator whose work appeared in magazines and popular novels in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. NW62
